Emirates Sky Cargo has enforced an embargo on all snub-nosed cat and dog breeds and will not accept them as cargo on their network. The ban will be in place throughout the entire Emirates network in all seasons, including both summer and winter.
Snub-nosed cats and dogs will not be able to fly on Emirates Sky Cargo starting December 1, 2020. All confirmed bookings will be honoured by the airline – new bookings will not be taken. Emirates Sky Cargo has announced that the following snub-nosed cat and dog breeds will no longer be accepted by the airline:

- King Charles Spaniel
- Lhasa Apso
- Lowchen
- Neapolitan Mastiff
- Newfoundland
- Pekingese
- Pitbull Terrier
- Pug
