Excess baggage is no longer permitted when travelling ex Dublin. On 19th July 2021, Dublin Airport Authorities (DAA) introduced a new rule, preventing live animals travelling from Dublin Airport as excess baggage due to lack of facilities to accommodate this form of transport.
This results in all live animals having to travel as manifested cargo ex Dublin.
